My work is usually formalized through the creation of artistic installations, through work from and with the same space, also understanding it as an expressive medium.

 

I use various techniques and materials, especially the use of iron, clay, action and sound. I am interested in the dialogue that is established with the modular works, the error in the repetition and the concept of the journey.

 

My interests revolve around various topics but often from social criticism. I have explored the impact of the climate crisis, the human-nature relationship and I am currently working with historical memory, Francoism and transition. I am particularly interested in exploring the ways in which memory and poetics can be used to create connections that transcend individuals and their environment.

 

My creative process begins with extensive research and investigation. I usually work from the feeling I want to convey and I understand my works as the creation of certain experiences, putting the viewer's experience at the center while I carry out my research. One of my main goals as an installation artist is to create an emotional impact on the viewer, using physical space to evoke a range of feelings and sensations that catalyze reflection. I believe that art has the power to create a sense of community and connection, and I hope my installations help foster that.
